Although special edition owners started playing last week, Halo Wars 2 arrives on Tuesday. It’s been a long wait for franchise fans and we’re interested to see how the strategy masters at the Creative Assembly rework the console-friendly RTS.
The other big release this week is Berserk and the Band of the Hawk. Based on the popular, uber-violent manga franchise, it comes from the Dynasty Warriors team, which has a history of successful adaptations such as One Piece. Should be a hit with fans.
But forget showy retail releases: just look at what’s happening in the digital sphere! Long-awaited and breathlessly desirable indie darling Night in the Woods is out at last, there are two new Games Workshop games for those who like their Warhammer elf-y or space marine-y, and someone’s finally answered our prayers with a sequel to Chime. Chime! Hot damn!
Oh and Psychonauts for PlayStationVR, too. It’s a bridging chapter between the original and its upcoming sequel.
